I am pleased to share that I will undertake a five-week studentship visit with Cambridge Digital Humanities at the University of Cambridge during Michaelmas term 2026. During this visit, I will be supervised by my external advisor, Prof. John L. Drever, and will further develop and share my research within the Cambridge Digital Humanities community.
My project, The Numinous Ear: Autistic Listening and Aural Diversity as a Gateway to the Divine and Sublime, explores autistic listening as a distinct mode of auditory experience and neurodivergent perception as a site of relational and numinous consciousness.
LAURA (The Leverhulme Trust Aural Diversity Research Doc Hub) is co-directed by Prof. Bill Davies (University of Salford) and Prof. John L. Drever (University of Cambridge), and supports interdisciplinary research across sound, aural diversity, and listening.
